Client: Get Schwendi
Role: Graphic Designer
Get Schwendi branches out from apparel to beers with their new IPA and Pilsner.
The ski apparel brand Get Schwendi wanted to expand themselves into new territory, specifically with craft beers. I created their graphics and labels for their Oblivion IPA and Schwendi German-Style Pilsner. Available locally at the Waterville, NM area.
The Waterhill Ski Brand
Get Schwendi was started by two guys from New Hampshire who made a shirt. From there, they started a ski apparel brand. By the fall of 2022, they were planning on expanding to a new beverage line.
Process for Oblivion
They had a direction for the Oblivion Label. They wanted to use their already iconic ski guy on the front, but they also a splash of color.
Process for Schwendi
After some exploration, it was decided with the Schwendi team that their other label would be something retro, bright pink, with a hint of AC Slater from Saved by the Bell. And the center piece of this label was a snow trecking yeti with a lederhousen.
With the professional help of PaQuan Fae, the yeti came to life. Various color combinations were experimented with.
Aftermath
The initial launch for Oblivion and Schwendi was a hit, ending up on several brewery recommended lists. The brand has now expanded throughout the New England region.
